Response to "Youth stuck on video games"

I think the students in higher education stage would spend more time on-line and get higher

tendency of Internet addiction than the students in lower education stage. So their personality

traits, living adjustment and psychological needs are significant different between high-risk

internet addicts and general internet users. As a result, to satisfy the psychological needs is the

strongest motive for Internet in adolescents. I also found out that there is a tendency that the

male students are easier to get internet addiction than the female students, such as in YST,

those who play Warcraft are usually male students. In order to avoid playing too much game, I

think we can solve the problem such as trying to let them get used to single PC game first

because there is a strong relation between on-line games and Internet Addiction Scale. After all,

game should be a good entertainment for people and not become our bad habit.
