Self-introduction

My name is Lee Chieh and I am from Taiwan. My first instrument is piano and I started to learn it when I was three years old. When I was six,I chose the violin to be my major. Instead of piano and violin, I play “ er hu " as well ,which is a traditional Chinese instrument.

As for my family, I am the only child. My parents are both teachers and they work in a primary school in Taipei.

My hobby is playing video games. I have a lot of game consoles at home ,such as DC,XBOX,PS2,and Wii .Unfortunately I cannot bring them to Singapore ,so I only have my PSP and NDS with me now. Because I used to play games designed by Japanese game companies ,so I can speak Japanese better than English.

My favorite music genre is game music .Game music has no restrictions and it is more creative and varying than classical music .For example ,this is a piece from Sigama Hormonics Original Sound Track-The Remains of time. In this piece the composer used not only instruments but also the ticking sound of a wall clock to show a scene which is the changes of the times. And so that is why I think game music is more interesting than some classical music pieces.

I agree with the some pieces of Game music are interested me more than some pieces of Classical music. I think it because Game music is easy to listen and more important thing is, it easy to find and remember too.

Chieh your blog is looking great - I understand the freedom you enjoy in game music with its lack of restrictions.
